Body Unity — Booking inner peace
The Client
Body Unity is the company of Maja, a Yoga & Pilates teacher who wants to focus on building a regular client base. Currently she works mainly for other studios, but this will change with Body Unity.
To do this, she needs a website that allows her customers to find out about the types of Yoga & Pilates classes offered and to book them online.
Empathise:
Interviews
To understand our stakeholder, we first interviewed Maja. Here it quickly became clear that the market is gigantic, especially in a metropolitan area in Berlin.
However, Maja told us that other Yoga&Pilates teachers/studios have a different offer and your portfolio would be very wide.
In order to inform the customers about this, she would like to have a "clean & simple" website.
After that we interviewed 10 potential clients from Berlin to understand why they practice at a specific studio or why not and what is important to them when choosing.

What I've learned
Sometimes it's difficult to even grasp what the client wants. Maja wanted a website, all simple but it turns out, it's not that simple at all. We spent a lot of time creating, re-designing and re-creating our user flow until we and especially our testers were satisfied with the result.
Challenges and Lessons
The biggest challenge was to build and structure the website from scratch, as the offers were diverse and we had to present them all for booking.
Also, the booking process was not as easy as we thought. You only realize how well they are designed in modern online stores when you have created one yourself.
I would greatly appreciate your feedback, so please feel free to reach out to me at lucius.nagel87@gmail.com or through the contact form or LinkedIn.
Thank you for your time, and I hope you enjoyed reading about this project.

Deliverables:
Responsive Website
The Goal:
Help our stakeholder to understand the needs of the clients and based on that create a responsive website for you, where clients can easily find all the information about offered Yoga & Pilates classes and book them.
The Problem:
The problem was to offer and explain the different Yoga & Pilates classes clearly. In addition, the user flow of booking should be intuitive and clear.
The Solution:
Through in-depth analysis and user testing, we were able to understand where problems with booking occur and create a straightforward process that takes the user by the hand to get to the goal.

Moscow Method
Lowfidelity
Here it became clear that it is most important to create a very straightforward userflow, which intuitively supports the user on the way to the booking and clearly shows all information to create trust. So we started with sketches to roughly visualize the concept and to identify first pain points as well as to perform tests.
Midfidelity
Here it became clear that it is most important to create a very straightforward userflow, which intuitively supports the user on the way to the booking and clearly shows all information to create trust. So we started with sketches to roughly visualize the concept and to identify first pain points as well as to perform tests.
Branding
Highfidelity
To give you a better insight, here are a few mockups. The focus is clearly on the fact that we want to sell a clear, tidy product. All information is clearly presented in both the mobile and web version.
After retesting with our lowfi wireframes, we were able to adjust our original userflow and sitemap and retest with Maze. This time with the result, the users were happy and had a direct success rate of 85%.
To offer customers and Maja even more convenience, we have decided to offer 5 and 10 tickets at reduced prices. This way both sides benefit from being able to build a community and save money at the same time. You can see the complete userflow in the following video.
